Kn Hotel Arenas Del Mar Adults Only, El Medano (Tenerife)

I had a comfortable 1-week stay in a spacious room on the 5th floor, away from the noise, thanks to the wardrobes providing privacy. The hotel is not quite up to 4-star UK standards but the service from the friendly staff, especially at the reception desk, was great, offering various convenient services like car hire and laundry. The location, though a bit far from everything, is peaceful and close to the charming El Medano town with fantastic sea views. The dining experience was enjoyable with a generous buffet offering a variety of options. Overall, the hotel provided a lovely experience without breaking the bank.

I had a mix of experiences at the hotel. The room, though of an acceptable size, had a breathtaking view of the sea from our balcony. However, the poorly laid-out design with all hanging wardrobe space was a downside. The location was excellent, right next to the El Medano beach, but the loud generator near our accessible room affected our stay in the last few nights.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room upgrade to a sea view room at no extra charge, although the lack of sun loungers was a bit disappointing. The service, especially from Bumba and his colleague at the reception desk, was exceptional. The location, despite being windy, offers a fantastic experience near the town of El Medano. Dining was tasty and fresh, with multiple choices each morning, but the lingering dinner mess and poor coffee were a letdown.
